I have set this blog up as part of the DEPtH (Design for Physicality) project. Over the next few weeks I will be designing a simple torch using both traditonal and ‘new’ design tools. The traditional tools being that of skteching, CAD, simple blue foam prototyping etc, and the ‘new’ tools being a 3D scanner, 3D printer and haptic feedback modelling as appropriate.

I intend to use this blog to record the progress of the designs, including photos where possible.
